Return & Cancellations

The wonderful thing about buying jewellery from a small jewellery business is that generally the jewellery is completely hand made in small numbers. This is the case with C.Jade Jewellery. As a one woman team, I hand make each piece of jewellery from start to finish. Ultimately all that this means is that there might be slight variances in products. I obviously try to ensure that I am accurate when making your jewellery, but please be understanding. Each little difference only adds to the charm, character and uniqueness of each piece. The pictures used on the website are an indication of what the jewellery will look like, but due to the nature of hand manufacturing (as opposed to being machine made) minor details/ aspects may appear differently  on your piece of jewellery.

The same applies to gem stones. No two will ever be exactly the same. Please bear in mind that inclusions and colours may vary.

Orders may be cancelled/ denied for the following reasons:

• Payment hasn’t been made/ cleared correctly.
• The product is no longer able to be made/ materials or stones aren’t available.
• The time frame you have provided isn’t realistic/ we can’t make it in time.
• Design has been discontinued.

As with all good things, handmade jewellery takes time to be made. It is for this reason we ask you to be patient.

Orders will only be processed once payment has been received.

Usually manufacturing of jewellery will happen within 15 working days. However, the more complicated the design and the volume of orders can extend this time frame.

Time lines and extensions will always be communicated to you.

If you need your order by a specific date, please enquire with me first before placing your order.

If for some reason you want to cancel your order, please inform us within 48 hours of payment for standard collection pieces and within 24 hours of payment for custom orders.

Items already out for delivery cannot be cancelled.

We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time.

We reserve the right to cancel orders if prices are incorrectly displayed. If a cancellation takes place and you have already paid a refund will be made into your account.

Card, EFT  and zapper payments are accepted on the website.

We reserve the right to change the information, prices, pictures and specs on the C.Jade website at any time, without notice.

Items can be removed and added as we see fit.

As a small business, suppliers price changes, the exchange rate, and any other increases that are out of our control may affect the prices of them items on this website.

We are proud of what we make so we obviously want you to be satisfied with the purchase you have made. If, for any reason you are unhappy, you may return your jewellery for either online store credit or an exchange (for the same value of your purchase, minus shipping). Returns and exchanges can only be done within two weeks from purchase.

Terms for exchange and returns:

• Items cannot be exchanged or returned if they are a custom order.
• If you have had the item for longer than 2 weeks it cannot be exchanged or returned.
• If the item is damaged or worn/used it cannot be exchanged or returned.

Any new shipping costs will be charged to you.

Chains are delicate and therefor need to be handled carefully. C.Jade Jewellery cannot, unfortunately, be held responsible for broken chains.

Coupon codes can only be used once by each customer.

Sales, coupon codes and specials can not be used in conjunction with each other.

Subscription codes will be found in your welcome email.

Orders will only be shipped during working hours: week days only.

Once a parcel has been posted, C.Jade Jewellery cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses. The courier service that we use ships in 2 to 3 working days; if there is a delay we are not responsible. Please allow enough time when ordering for manufacturing and delivery time.

If you are within Durban and can collect, you may do so from my workshop in Glenwood.

Local deliveries generally take 2-3 working days and will be delivered to a given address. The address given must be correct and there must be someone available to receive and sign for the parcel.

International deliveries take longer. Generally two weeks is the time frame. Due to the various customs policies in different countries, additional charges may be involved. C.Jade Jewellery is not liable for any of these extra charges.
